The Doomsday Effect: A $50 Million Warning Sign for Hollywood Marvel's "Avengers: Doomsday" has already generated $50 million in domestic pre sales, three months before its release date.
This figure is hardly surprising, given the Marvel Cinematic Universe's (MCU) decade long reign as a box office behemoth.
The majority of these pre sales – over 70% – are for tickets to see the movie on Disney's premium large format screens with "Infinity Vision" certification.
